Giving Thanks to Reverence Home and Hospice Care

I was a resident of MediLodge of Sterling previously and I said that if I ever have to go anywhere again, it will be here! Every team member and department stood out to me. Chris (CNA) took care of me here a year and a half ago and when he walked into my room this time, he gave me a big ole hug! It just warmed my heart that he remembered me.

MediLodge of Sterling seemed like the right choice for myself as it seemed to be a place that I could get stronger. Now I can stand and take steps! I pretty much enjoyed everyone and everything. I liked the crafting and enjoyed the baking class here.

I chose Medilodge of Sterling for myself because at the time it was the only center close to me with a bed open. I am so thankful. The dietary department treated us very well. Bob and Michelle were both fantastic! Everyone was very nice here.

When I arrived at Medilodge of Sterling, in August, I felt like my life was just hanging by a thread. I was in the process of signing up for palliative care and was expecting to die. I felt that would be my only release from the debilitating pain, was discouraged, and saw no hope of recovery. The excellent therapy team at Medilodge did not give up on me. They worked tirelessly and applauded each small victory. Words can’t express how grateful I am for the incredible team here in Sterling. The nurses, doctors, CNAs, therapists, dining staff, activities staff, office staff, etc., have all worked hard to restore my health and turn my despair into hope. Encouraging me continuously and making me smile again. I have so much to be thankful for and will never forget the beautiful souls that genuinely cared and restored my strength and hope. They truly show a spirit of excellence.

The reason I chose MediLodge of Sterling is because I have been to a few others but I like this MediLodge much better. I really enjoy bingo here! Everyone is really good and treat me like I am a human.

I had no idea that people helped take care of others so well. All of the staff were very kind to me. My favorite part about being here was the people. Thank you, everyone, at MediLodge, for making this experience better. I will never forget you. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! ❤️❤️❤️

Everyone at MediLodge has been so kind and helpful during my stay and encouraged me to stay positive during my recovery. I was treated like family, with kind words and hugs when needed, good home-cooked meals, with my own private room. I want to thank everyone at MediLodge of Sterling for their care and help during my stay and wish them all a very Merry Christmas!

The reason I chose this center is because my daughter suggested it after she heard about it from friends that had came here. Jeanie from housekeeping really stood out to me here. She socialized with me everyday and cleaned my room so well. Everyone was very kind in helping me to get better so I can go home after two weeks of therapy.
